Project Background: As part of my university project for the module "User Interface & Design Evaluation," I was tasked with the challenge of developing an online task management system. This project spanned several phases, beginning with the creation of a medium-fidelity mock-ups, which had to be sent to the board for approval and to be graded, then immediately being turned into a functioning medium-fidelity prototype. I then had to conduct a rigorous heuristic evaluation to ensure the system's design adhered to established usability principles. After this came usability testing to gather user feedback and insights. The culmination involved a comprehensive critical evaluation, wherein I dissected the strengths and weaknesses of the system, engaging in thoughtful discussions and incorporating valuable feedback. The entirety of this project allowed me to hone my skills in UI design, usability assessment, and critical analysis whilst contributing to my academic journey and practical understanding of user-centric design principles. I was awarded the highest accolade of a first grade for this assignment, and consequently, the module as a whole.

" The technology that I am producing a high-fidelity mock-up of a Task Management system. The system allows its users to better manage their lives through aiding them tracking in their habits, upcoming events, daily tasks and long-term milestones. The motivation behind designing a system is to make the lives of users’ easier, giving them a tool to manage their lives more effectively and give them actionable feedback so they can make a positive change and track their progress.
